Inspiration: Summer BBQ – Sliders

Today’s Summer BBQ feature comes from Chris of Celebrations at Home. Chris used the same red, white, and blue color scheme as yesterday’s BBQ feature, but she created an entirely different feel by going with a more vintage decor. The flowers in recycled cans, and torn pieces of ribbon tied around the condiments holder is a fantastic and easy decorating idea.

Another big difference, is the menu – sliders and baked beans. YUM!! I like the idea of using sliders, which are just a smaller hamburger, because it gives guests the opportunity to try different toppings without overloading on food.

Serving baked beans in small canning jars is, in my mind, ingenious! This way your slider buns won’t get all soggy from the beans.

I think lemonade is a staple at all BBQ’s. How fun to drink it out of a canning or mason jar that’s been personalized with a printable tag and topped off with a red striped straw.
